As a Professional Services Technician, you will play a critical role in advancing embryo production and transfer outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of animal care, biosecurity, and customer service. This role offers a hands-on, highly technical environment suited for individuals passionate about bovine reproduction and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, client-focused setting. Responsibilities Flush and transfer bovine embryos Perform ultrasound-guided transvaginal ovum pickup procedures for IVF embryo production Design and review superovulation and synchronization protocols for donors and recipients Evaluate pregnancy status post-transfer using ultrasonography Assess fetal gender, viability, and quantity in various embryo programs (including IVF and research embryos) Conduct rectal palpation to evaluate reproductive status of recipient cows Execute, monitor, and enhance farm-level biosecurity protocols Maintain a professional, customer-focused presence aligned with company standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's or Ph.D. in Bovine Reproduction or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience Strong technical proficiency in reproductive procedures and cattle handling Ability to work long, physically demanding days during peak seasons Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and sustain prolonged periods of standing and manual work High level of dexterity, hand coordination, and precision in technical procedures Passion for bovine reproduction with a commitment to continuous learning Strong customer orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
