Job Description

We are looking for Surface Treatment Specialist. Requirements Strong work ethic & work seeking mentality Attention to details and analytical thinking skills Artistic touch Great organizational skills Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate next steps or catch mistakes before they happen Comfortable following written, multi-step checklists & instruction without cutting corners Ability to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16th of an inch (caliper experience is a plus) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods and conformable wearing respirators and protective gear. Solution-oriented mindset allowing for quick methodical problem solving Technical proficiency in computers, tablets & modern technology Knowledge of Google Suite, a plus Experience working in production manufacturing environments, a plus Experience with pool, landscaping or general construction, a plus Responsibilities Execute chemical finishing processes including copper patina application, stainless steel passivation, and aluminum alodining. Utilize chemical pastes, pickling agents, or electro-chemical cleaning equipment to clean and restore welded joints on stainless steel and other metal. Clean, degrease, sandblasting, or etch raw metal products prior to chemical application to ensure proper coating adhesion and compliance with quality standards. Monitor, test, and maintain proper chemical concentrations, temperatures, and pH levels in finishing tanks. Conduct visual and technical quality control checks to ensure uniform finishes, corrosion resistance, and adherence to engineering specifications. Strictly follow safety protocols for handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous chemicals, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Coordinating and managing order flow across departments to prevent bottlenecks. Assisting various departments to learn and execute necessary shop operations. Other duties as assigned
