Job Description

We're looking for a Chemistry Lab Technician I or II to support organic chemistry synthesis, process scale-up, and testing from lab through pilot scale. You'll work hands-on alongside our scientists and engineers, with training provided and responsibilities that grow with you.
Responsibilities:
Support organic chemistry synthesis, material characterization, and process scale-up from lab to pilot scale Weigh, mix, and charge reaction ingredients with precision, following written and verbal instructions closely Prepare samples and operate analytical instruments (NMR, FTIR, DSC) Filter and dry chemical products; set up, operate, and clean synthesis equipment and glassware Follow chemical safety procedures — PPE, handling, labeling, and waste disposal in fume hoods Contribute to R&D problem-solving with a detail-oriented, curious mindset
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in organic chemistry synthesis, formulation, or a chemical process lab Working knowledge of lab safety practices, including fume hood work Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn US citizenship required due to the nature of the work Strong communication and teamwork skills Nice to
Have:
Pilot-scale synthesis or process scale-up experience Experience with NMR, FTIR, HPLC, rheometer,
DSC, or TGA Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
