Previous experience in this position is not required; you will be trained how to perform the work.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm
Responsibilities Include:
Perform stains using IHC staining instrumentation, calculate antibody dilutions, organize the daily workload, scan/send slides to pathologists at various locations, inventory control, maintenance and quality control.
Required Qualifications:
At minimum an Associate's Degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from a regionally accredited institution, OR equivalent education/training that includes at least 60 semester hours from a regionally accredited institution, including either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses that include 6 semester hours of chemistry, 6 of biology and 12 of chemistry, biology or medical laboratory technology in any combination. Background knowledge in anatomy and medical terminology is extremely helpful. Ability to multi-task and prioritize with high attention to detail is essential.
