POSITION SUMMARY
DuBois Chemicals is looking for a high performing Service Representative to support our Philadelphia region on-site car washes to perform preventative maintenance and calibration of chemical dispensing systems to optimize wash performance and ensure quality standards. DuBois is committed to ecologically responsible chemistry and is continuing to develop proprietary innovative products. Responsible for providing solutions to our customers by focusing on lowering their total operating costs and consistently exceeding their expectations by delivering efficiency to their car wash sites. Demonstrate the company's core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed.
ACCOUNT DESCRIPTIONS
Car Wash - Capable of servicing car wash systems, pumps, wash and rinse arches, and chemical systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Inspect and test chemical application systems, as well as wash equipment for proper function, troubleshooting any issues and making repairs or adjustments. Manage multiple customer sites across given geography that utilize our chemicals. Ensure the customer is adequately trained in proper operation of chemicals and equipment. Consistent service of car wash equipment (repair/maintenance), replacement installations, chemical testing, inventory management, and providing customer with value-add personal service. Ability to complete reports regarding onsite inspections and notify site and corporate leaders on issues or corrective actions. Demonstrate a strong technical aptitude by resolving customer's technical challenges and assisting with improving processes. Effectively communicate (phone, virtually, face to face) and work collaboratively with customers and team members, as well as other cross functional support employees. Maintain a constant focus on work and vehicle driving safe habits. Travel to assigned customer sites to provide superior service. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial experience preferred. Mechanical Aptitude in electrical and pipefitting preferred. Ability to work remotely on installations for up to 2 weeks. Ability to work overtime including evenings and weekends. Strong time management skills with an attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage shifting priorities/change in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in performing technical/mechanical on-site maintenance and testing. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as on a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to travel up to 30% including some overnight travel.
