SEEKING CHEMICAL APPLICATOR WITH LANDSCAPING EXPERIENCE

The position of chemical applicator carries the overall responsibility for maintaining "The Groundskeeper's "contractual obligations in regard to herbicide, pesticide and fertilization management. Related duties include ensuring a safe work environment and assist chemical coordinator. strict adherence to all federal, state, local laws and regulations.

CHEMICAL APPLICATORS LICENSE REQUIRED JOB DUTIES INCLUDE

Treat specific insects, weeds, turf disease and nutritional deficiencies by application of appropriate products. Maintain power spray equipment assigned to your area in a safe, clean and mechanically sound condition at all times. Discuss with your supervisor what is to be done the following day. Maintain accurate records of chemical usage according to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. Use good judgment in the application of chemicals (exposure to the public, weather conditions and other environmental considerations). Provide and maintain safe physical conditions for employees assigned to spray duties, per OSHA standards.
