Job Description

The Analytical Technician role is part of the Analytical R&D Team within Product Science and Technology at Corteva Agriscience, Indianapolis, IN site. This position supports analytical activities by contributing to laboratory studies and analytical efforts that enable product development and analytical problem-solving.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for carrying out analytical requests and routine sample analysis to support formulation projects and meet project timelines. Generate, document, and report analytical data in compliance with established procedures and guideline requirement. Utilize standard formats for spreadsheets, reports, and data documentation as required. Collect and record data using computerized data systems. Support daily analytical laboratory operations, including routine maintenance and care of analytical instrumentation. Apply knowledge of common analytical techniques to support the analytical team in generating results for a variety of sample types. Coordinate analytical requests with contractors and other team members, facilitate routine troubleshooting, and escalate more complex issues to subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed to ensure data quality and timely resolution. Actively collaborate with the team to support the development and implementation of automated and digital tools, and high-throughput workflows to drive continuous improvement in analytical workflows and capabilities. Maintain laboratory housekeeping, manage consumables and column inventory, and ensure proper waste disposal. Understand and follow applicable EH&S standards, policies, and procedures, and lead by example by promoting safe work habits.
What Skills You Need:
College or undergraduate degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline. Minimum of one year of laboratory experience, preferably within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or related industry. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data generation and documentation. Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented laboratory environment. Basic knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory practices. Ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently and communicate clearly with team members. Takes action and resolves issues independently. Performs duties with minimal supervision, actively demonstrates accountability by providing recommendations and or thorough analysis of options for issues/solutions. Benefits -
