Months Job Duties:
Remove, inspect, clean, and maintain filters, pumps, hoses, valves, air spargers, anodes, tanks, vessels, and related equipment. Monitor and maintain chemistry, pH levels, amperage, and material requirements using basic chemistry, mechanical, plumbing, and math principles. Follow OSHA, RCRA, Lockout/Tagout, confined space, and site-specific safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating equipment. Safely operate forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks while performing material handling, racking, tooling/fixture handling, and preventive maintenance activities. Maintain assigned production areas through cleaning, painting, labeling, audits, and 5S practices, while properly maintaining required PPE.
Job Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred. Experience with e-coat, powder coating, chemical analysis, or tanks, pumps, and industrial processing equipment, wastewater operations is a strong plus. Basic understanding of chemistry, pH, chemical handling, mechanical systems, plumbing, and industrial equipment. Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment. Ability to understand technical instructions, follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 3:00 AM - 11:30
AM Pay:
$25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Candidate able to safely perform material handling activities, including lifting, moving materials, or operating/learning to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts. Candidate able to work around chemicals, wastewater, tanks, pumps, and industrial processing equipment.
