The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various laboratory operations, contributing to safe lab practices, and ensuring the accuracy of data collection and analysis. This position requires a strong foundation in laboratory techniques or eagerness to learn, and a commitment to detail. Responsibilities Support and assist the lab supervisors/chemists by performing routine and non-routine laboratory analysis/wet chemistry on product and in-process samples. Perform tests in order to support plant operations for the purpose of quality assurance/control. Perform calibration and maintenance of test equipment. Prepare samples and ensure accurate data generation and records, in accordance with the standard operating procedures. Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance/control issues. Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, as well as set preparation standards. Position will receive direction and support. Skills Polytechnic graduate with the background in Chemical/Process/Technical Engineering. Computer-literate. Preferable experience in quality control systems. Conduct laboratory analyses (hands on working on the bench). Produce accurate and timely data. Understand and keep current with all laboratory safety practices and protocols. Understand and keep current with all laboratory analysis methods and procedures. Follow all laboratory analysis methods and procedures rigorously without deviations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills. Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts including day, nights, and weekends.

2 on 3 off, 3 on 2 off, every other weekend off. Associate Degree or Higher in a Science related field.
