The Wet Chemistry Analyst prepares and analyzes water, oil, soil, and sediment samples while accurately documenting results and maintaining laboratory records. This role requires working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production laboratory and reports to the Wet Chemistry Supervisor or Manager. Key Responsibilities Analyze client samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) Maintain accurate laboratory records, bench sheets, and logbooks Use LIMS to manage sample batches and report results Prepare reagents, perform quality checks, and manage chemical inventories Clean glassware and maintain an organized work area Properly handle and dispose of laboratory waste Assist with SOP reviews and updates Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting Support additional laboratory tasks as assigned Qualifications Experience with Ion Chromatography, Spectrophotometers, and Flow Segmented Analyzers preferred Knowledge of good laboratory practices Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work efficiently and accurately under deadlines Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods (8+ hours) Lift up to 70 lbs. Manual dexterity for laboratory work Schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Overtime, occasional evenings/weekends, and one holiday shift annually as needed
