Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chemical Dependency Technician to join our behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide direct support to individuals battling addiction, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their treatment journey. Your energetic and proactive approach will help create a positive environment conducive to recovery, while your attention to detail and adherence to medical protocols will ensure the highest standards of patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those overcoming substance use challenges. Hours would be Saturday and Sunday working 12am to 8am. Duties Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track patient health status Administer medications accurately according to prescribed protocols and document all medication administration in medical records Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, de-escalating situations with calm professionalism and ensuring patient safety Collect data related to patient progress, behavior patterns, and treatment responses for ongoing assessment Experience Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management training or experience Strong skills in social work practices, behavior management, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques Ability to accurately perform medical documentation and maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards Proven capability in data collection and record-keeping within a healthcare or behavioral health environment Join us in providing compassionate care that transforms lives!
