Job Description

Job Summary Perform on-site inspection, hands-on execution, basic maintenance and log-keeping for specialty-gas and hazardous chemical systems following established SOPs. Report equipment abnormalities in timely manner to ensure stable supply of process gas and chemicals. Follow safety instructions from engineering team. Responsibilities Conduct routine rounds for gas yards, GC cabinets, VMB/VMP manifolds, hook up piping and thermal exhaust abatement equipment. Record pressure, purity, dew point and other operating parameters, maintain operation logs and escalate abnormalities promptly. Perform cylinder exchange, cylinder replacement, nitrogen purging, valve leak check and high/low pressure switching strictly per SOP. Follow anti static, explosion proof and ventilation interlock requirements to avoid gas mixing and reverse suction hazards. Execute field maintenance tasks per maintenance schedules, support helium leak test, filter element replacement, disassembly & reassembly for instruments sent for calibration. In case of gas leakage, pressure swing or exhaust unit shutdown, perform immediate on site emergency actions, secure the scene and notify engineer. Participate in hazardous gas emergency drills.
