About the Role Our client is a global provider of supply chain management solutions, serving industries including aerospace, defense, industrial manufacturing, marine, and pharmaceuticals. They manage the full supply chain lifecycle from procurement and warehouse management to logistics and on-site customer service. The Chemical Management Services Technician plays a key role in maintaining adequate stock levels and supporting chemical management functions at the customer site. This person serves as a primary point of contact for site personnel in a production/warehouse environment and helps maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace — particularly around chemical materials handling.

Responsibilities:

Maintain strong product knowledge across hardware, chemicals, tooling, and electrical components, along with related inventory systems and quality/customer specifications Monitor production floor bins and storage cabinets to determine replenishment needs Perform inventory inspections and analysis Conduct regularly scheduled readings and maintain compliance with customer and regulatory standards Conduct chemical compatibility analysis/sampling to ensure conformance with customer and industry requirements Use pallet jacks, drum dollies, forklifts, and/or order pickers once trained/certified Maintain floor cleanliness; label, repair, or replace bins, cabinets, and racks as needed Respond to hazardous materials releases and perform spill cleanup per protocol Coordinate with production floor supervisors on part numbers, bin changes, and quantities Follow safety/security procedures in compliance with OSHA, FAR, EPA, DOT, and RCRA regulations

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred 1-2 years of relevant inventory management, material handling, or production experience 1-2 years of experience with chemical compatibility preferred

HAZWOPER

Training (40 hours) required JIT, VMI, or 3PL experience within the aerospace industry required Ability to wear required PPE (respirator, face shield, apron, gloves, etc.) US Citizenship required, with ability to pass a clean background screening (ITAR compliance) This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
