The overall responsibility of the position is to provide technical leadership in the laboratory while supporting production and quality activities. Key Responsibilities Perform chemical sample preparation and analytical testing using laboratory equipment and procedures. Provide technical refinement of analytical methods to improve accuracy and efficiency. Compile and analyze laboratory and plant data to support production and quality objectives. Assist with laboratory calibration systems. Create and improve quality system procedures, forms, and documentation. Support aerospace, customer, and quality audits. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Natural Science, or related field; or 1-2+ years of relevant analytical laboratory experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with metallographic methods and grain size measurement is preferred. Familiarity with aerospace quality systems, including AS9100 and Nadcap is also preferred. This is a temp to hire position with a Monday-Friday day shift work schedule.
