$30/hour on W2 - $34/hour on W2 Job Summary We are seeking a Compliance Associate to support R&D Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) activities. This is a hands-on, physical role focused on chemical waste collection, packaging, labeling, storage, chemical dispensing and delivery, inspections, and documentation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently , is comfortable with routine manual work, and takes initiative in a busy, high-activity environment. Key Responsibilities Collect chemical waste from laboratories and process areas and transport it to designated Central Accumulation Areas (CAA). Package, label, and prepare chemical waste containers for transportation and disposal. Maintain and inspect chemical waste storage areas, including housekeeping, inventory, supplies, and signage. Follow applicable federal, state, local, and company requirements for chemical waste handling and disposal. Coordinate with R&D personnel on laboratory clean-outs and special waste disposal activities. Dispense chemicals from drums into smaller containers while wearing required PPE. Deliver chemicals to laboratories and designated storage areas. Perform routine safety equipment and storage-area inspections and maintain required documentation. Track and report completion of tasks, inspections, and work orders. Maintain

records and databases. Support procedure development, Management of Change (MOC) activities, and other EH&S projects as needed. Required Qualifications Ability to wear and successfully complete a full-face respirator fit test . Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper respirator seal. Ability to wear required PPE, including chemical suit, full-face respirator, and work boots. Steel-toe boots required. Comfortable performing physical/manual work and repetitive material-handling activities. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong initiative and ability to stay productive in a busy work environment. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of chemicals and chemical handling. Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) . Experience with chemical waste, hazardous waste, laboratory, manufacturing, environmental, or EH&S activities. RCRA knowledge or experience is a plus. Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
