A Chemical Technician works with specialized equipment in research labs and chemical processing facilities, under the direction of scientists, chemists and engineers. Prepares chemical solutions, analyzes compounds, tests products, monitors chemical processing, monitors product quality and packaging in production facilities.

Job Description
Essential Duties include the following:
- Working alone must be capable of performing all electrical work
- Electrical control work and troubleshooting/repair equipment
- Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of DC Instrumentation including: PLC's, transmitters, flow computers and various analog instruments preferred
- Good understanding of AC circuits, VFD's, motors, panels, POC's, etc. preferred
- Good understanding instrumentation calibration process
- Maintain daily logs and project tasking
- Communicate with Manager frequently regarding scheduling
- Work in multiple industrial settings
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule for 24 / 7 on-call coverage
- Must be able to use multiple computer programs associated with various types of equipment
- Meeting and exceeding customer expectations and needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Honest, dependable, proactive and reliable
- Facilitate and participate in daily
JSA's Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Prior industrial instrumentation, controls, and/or measurement experience preferred
- Must complete all company required safety trainings
- Must be able to professionally communicate with employees, managers, customers and vendors
- Oil & Gas Industry experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work at various heights up to 50' from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks or other safe work areas
- Able to work in restricted areas ( i.e. cellars, crawl spaces, well sites, drilling sites) with appropriate safety certifications
- Able to withstand repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers
- Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead
- Able to carry tools and materials up to 50 pounds from the ground to overhead and overhead to ground
- Lifting requirements no greater than 80Lbs
- Able to stand for 8 hours or more per days
- Able to ride/drive in truck for multiple hours
