09/02/2026 Job Description Job Description Experienced Wellhead Service Technicians at Great Lakes Wellhead, Inc. play a crucial role in assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing pressure control equipment on oil and gas wells. These skilled professionals handle advanced mechanical tasks across Multi-Bowl, Conventional, and Uni-Bowl wellhead systems, ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. The role involves collaboration on site as well as independent work, occasional travel to support other locations, and opportunities for career growth to higher technician levels and supervisory roles. Responsibilities Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot wellhead equipment Perform pressure testing and charting on wellhead systems Install Conventional, Multi-Bowl, and Uni-Bowl Wellhead Systems Operate and maintain Large Bore Frac Valves during fracturing operations Repair and maintain generators, compressors, accumulators, and other support equipment Document field activities through build sheets, service tickets, and safety analyses Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies Respond to customer needs on a 24-hour call basis and work various non-rotation shifts Perform maintenance and inspections on company-issued vehicles Travel occasionally to assist other branch locations and meet customer demands Required Qualifications Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Demonstrated competency in wellhead mechanical assembly in field or shop environments Strong oral and written communication skills; self-motivated and dependable Physical capability to perform shop assembly and field service work Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members on site Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in oilfield service High school diploma or equivalent Practical knowledge of wellhead mechanical assembly and pressure control systems Experience operating fracturing equipment and performing equipment maintenance Strong adherence to safety protocols and field service operations Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills Physical stamina for demanding field work
