Arencibia's operating and maintenance function is based in Quakertown, PA. As an Analyzer Technician, you will support the operations will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and validation of gas analyzers and analytical instrumentation used in both laboratory and field applications. You will support equipment commissioning, analyzer testing, and technology validation while ensuring reliable analytical performance across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot gas analyzers and associated instrumentation. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on analytical equipment. Commission gas analyzers during laboratory testing and customer startup activities. Maintain analyzer calibration records and ensure compliance with internal quality procedures. Prepare calibration gases, perform analyzer verification, and investigate measurement discrepancies. Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods. Support field testing activities for new process technologies. Assist with installation and commissioning of analytical systems at customer sites. Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), calibration procedures, and maintenance documentation. Maintain equipment, tools, spare parts, and calibration standards. Assist in training employees on proper operation of analytical equipment. Travel to customer sites as needed for analyzer installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Strong candidates will have:

Associate or Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or equivalent technical experience. 3+ years of experience working with gas analyzers, laboratory instrumentation, or process analytical equipment. Experience with Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, FTIR, moisture analyzers, oxygen analyzers, or other analytical instrumentation is preferred. Experience calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting analytical instruments. Ability to understand P& IDs, electrical drawings, and instrument wiring diagrams. Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience using instrumentation and diagnostic tools. Ability to learn new analytical techniques and instrumentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate analytical results. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and communication skills. Willingness to travel for customer support and field service. Experience in the industrial gas, semiconductor, or cryogenic industries is a plus.
