Typically, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week. However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned.
Position Summary:
The Laboratory Analyst I, Wet Chemistry is responsible for preparing and analyzing a wide variety of client samples using analytical chemistry methodologies, including classical wet chemistry, distillation, elemental, gravimetric, Kjeldahl nitrogen, qualitative, spectroscopic, and volumetric titration techniques. Chromatographic techniques such as GC, HPLC and IC may also be included.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Performing and documenting routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation. Documenting/recording raw data and results of analyses. Education and Experience:
Degree requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology or closely related field. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an analytical chemistry laboratory preferred. Experience in a GLP/cGMP and ISO regulated environment preferred. An ideal candidate will have familiarity with United States Pharmacopeia (USP), Food Chemical Codex (FCC), or other compendial methods. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.
Compensation Range:
