Job Description
We are hiring for several technicians in and around the Dilley and Carrizo Springs area. The Field Technician I will be trained to safely set, maintain, repair and operate multiple types of natural gas compressors in their respective area for Park Energy Services. Duties & Responsibilities Learn to read gas meters and instrumentation recording the amounts of gas received/delivered/consumed and report any operational, temperature and pressure changes as needed in operating logs Learn to watch gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly Learn the function and repair of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems associated with natural gas compressors Learn to properly set units and perform start-up procedures on location Learn to maintain replacement/repair parts for assigned units Learn to use hand tools to clean, lubricate, adjust equipment, replace filters, gaskets and other items while identifying what kind of maintenance is needed Learn to properly use electronic devices for troubleshooting, testing or commissioning equipment Assist with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs and maintenance Will have call-out rotation responsibilities and respond to unscheduled service calls Submit accurate maintenance reports and other necessary paperwork Maintain a current and valid driver's license Other duties as assigned Skills & Competencies Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other software tools and applications that are beneficial to the position Communicate information effectively with all levels of co-workers by phone, email or in person Able to work independently or with others Education & Experience High school diploma or GED is preferred 1+ years mechanical experience on engines and/or other mechanical equipment
