Pay Range:
$23/hr - $28/hr
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing chemical dispensary operations and ensuring adherence to all relevant safety and environmental regulations. The specialist will manage the entire chemical lifecycle, from procurement to disposal, at multiple sites. This position requires a strong understanding of EHS compliance and the ability to provide expert consultation on chemical safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage chemical inventory and dispensary operations. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. Oversee proper chemical waste classification and disposal. Administer site hazard communication and chemical hygiene programs. Review chemical orders for hazard assessment and exposure control.
Must-Have Skills:
Working knowledge of chemical-related laws (OSHA, DOT, EPA) Experience managing chemical inventory and SDS Ability to sign off on waste manifests Experience in environmental, health, and safety compliance, particularly with chemical management regulations, is required.
