This chemist will be an integral part of the drug discovery team in CFD research corporation and contribute to our success by the synthesis, purification and identification of intermediates and target compounds. Integrate a deep understanding of organic reaction mechanisms and retrosynthetic analysis to design and deliver synthetic routes for novel molecules Synthesize compounds efficiently using diverse sources from either literature reports, in-house notebook procedures, or self-developed methods Proficiency in the purification techniques including but not limited to extraction, recrystallization, distillation, chromatography (both TCL and column), filtration and sublimation Analyze, identify and characterize compounds through a variety of chemical analysis techniques that include NMR (1D and 2D), MS, IR, UV-vis, polarimetry etc. Exhibit safety awareness and conduct laboratory operations in a safe manner
