Job Description

The Supervisor Lab / MIcrobiology is responsible for coordinating and overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role oversees staffing, scheduling, training, quality control, supply management, and collaboration with laboratory administration, nursing, and physicians. The Supervisor also monitors financial performance, ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, and supports continuous process improvements. Additionally, this position provides technical expertise and performs laboratory testing as needed. Qualifications, Licenses / Certifications Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Physical Science(Must meet applicable CLIA personnel qualification requirements for high-complexity testing 1-2 years of related experience in the profession required 1-2 years of previous leadership experience preferred MLS - Medical Lab Scientist (Formally MT Certification) through ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification agency required Shift Full-Time, Days, some flexibility need for schedule and weekends
