We are expanding our U.S. operations to deliver specialized services for leading mining companies in Arizona, with potential expansion in Nevada. Position Summary We are seeking an early-career geologist to coordinate safe, accurate core-cutting activities and support geological and geotechnical logging services. The initial assignment will focus primarily on supervising core cutting, sample identification, quality control and daily documentation. Training on Cumbrex and client procedures will be provided. Key Responsibilities Operate XRF and carbon/sulfur analyzers in accordance with SOPs and manufacturer guidance. Prepare cups, pellets, powders, crucibles and analytical batches as required by the selected methods. Run calibration checks, blanks, standards, duplicates and control samples; identify drift or out-of-control conditions. Review data for plausibility, document reruns/corrective actions and maintain traceable records. Perform routine cleaning, consumable replacement and preventive-maintenance tasks. Coordinate technical support with instrument vendors and support method validation and staff training. Maintain chemical, gas-cylinder, radiation-device and waste controls applicable to the methods and site. Minimum qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Geology, Metallurgy, Materials Science or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience. At least two years of analytical laboratory experience, including XRF and/or combustion carbon/sulfur analysis. Understanding of calibration, reference materials, QA/QC charts and data review. Strong computer, documentation and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work safely with high-temperature equipment, compressed gases and laboratory materials. Preferred qualifications Hands-on experience with Rigaku XRF and ELTRA carbon/sulfur equipment or comparable platforms. Mineral, mining, cement, metals or geochemistry laboratory experience. Experience with LIMS, method development/validation or

ISO/IEC 17025

systems. Work environment and physical requirements Laboratory and industrial sample-preparation areas with dust, noise and high-temperature equipment. Required PPE and compliance with site-specific radiation, compressed-gas and chemical safety programs. Occasional lifting up to 40 lb with reasonable accommodation.
