The successful candidate will play a crucial role in development, optimization, and nomination of top product candidates using various in vitro and in vivo phenotypic and functional assays. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to advance our exciting lead product candidates to clinical application.

Key Responsibilities CAR-T Production, Characterization and Functional Assays:
  • T cell isolation, culture, expansion, engineering, production and innovation.
  • Cytotoxicity analysis using IncuCyte, eSight/RTCA, luciferase and flow cytometry.
  • Cell phenotype, proliferation, and cytokine secretion profile analysis using multicolor flow cytometry, cell counter, MSD, Luminex, ELISA. Translational research supporting clinical development of CAR-T therapy products:
  • Design and validate assays to measure the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of new agents in clinical trials.
  • Investigate the mechanisms of action for novel cell therapies, both in vitro and in vivo, and creat proof of mechanism assays to support clinical trials and demonstrate the biological activity of new therapies.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and present findings to internal teams and management.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
Qualifications Extensive hands-on experience in T cell isolation, culture, expansion and engineering. Proficiency in CAR-T functional assays using IncuCyte, eSight/RTCA, luciferase and flow. Expertise in T cell phenotypical analysis using multicolor flow cytometry, such as Cytek Proficiency in cytokine measurement using MSD, Luminex, ELISA and flow. Expertise in relevant data analytical software such Excel, Prism, FlowJo, JMP. Deep understanding of T cell biology and its application in allogeneic cell therapy. Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in CAR-T protocol optimization and innovation. A can-do attitude and an ability to adapt to evolving priorities in a startup setting. Able to work hands-on independently as well in a matrix team environment. Excellent communication skills and accountability within matrix teams. Maintain organized, detailed records to support internal and regulatory requirements. Work flexible hours and travel when needed. Ph.D./M.s. in Immunology or a related field with a strong focus on Cell Therapy research.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
