Job Description

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Scientist for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 10+ month contract opportunity. This role is for a hands-on bioanalytical Scientist with strong large-molecule experience and demonstrated expertise in ligand-binding assays, particularly ELISA and/or ECL, including method development and validation. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO laboratory. This position will develop, validate, and implement robust bioanalytical methods for quantifying large-molecule biotherapeutics to support both nonclinical and clinical research programs.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the execution of experiments to support development, validation, and implementation of bioanalytical methods for large-molecule therapeutics, including oligonucleotides, in clinical and nonclinical samples Contribute to protocol optimization, troubleshooting, and assay improvement activities to support robust, reliable, and transferable bioanalytical methods Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support non-clinical and clinical bioanalytical needs across drug development programs Conduct experiments and manage bioanalytical study sample analysis
Requirements:
Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 4 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or related scientific experience, or Bachelor's degree with 6 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or related scientific experience Immunoassay knowledge Working knowledge of GxP regulations Project management skills Desired skills: 4+ years of laboratory experience Experience in immunology, immunochemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, or related disciplines Working knowledge of GxP regulations and bioanalytical requirements in drug development Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to integrate complex data to advance drug discovery and development programs Proven ability to communicate scientific concepts effectively to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise Demonstrated commitment to scientific excellence and innovation Track record of contributing as a lead author on peer-reviewed publications Strong collaboration, verbal communication, and technical writing skills Pay range: up to $42.16 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
