Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Chemist to support the development and production of medical-grade materials. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in distillation processes, formulation development, sterilization methods, and stability testing. Flexibility is a key aspect of this role. Familiarity with regulatory standards, particularly ISO 13485, is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform distillation of medical-grade monomers to ensure high purity and quality standards Develop and optimize chemical formulations for medical applications Bench testing of monomers and formulations Execute and support sterilization processes, ensuring compliance with International Standard
ISO 20857.
Design and conduct stability studies, including analytical testing and data interpretation Maintain accurate documentation of experiments, processes, and results Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R D, Quality, and Manufacturing Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements Assist in troubleshooting process or product-related issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field required. Prefer 3-5 yrs experience Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent documentation (GDP) and communication abilities
Preferred Skills:
Experience in distillations, formulation, and analytical testing methods Understanding of sterilization techniques (e.g., heat sterilization, EtO) Familiarity with stability study design and execution Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
