Overview Resolux Labs is building and expanding an analytical testing laboratory in Grand Junction, Colorado. We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist, Instrument Specialist, Laboratory Manager, or Field Service professional to help us commission and bring several analytical instruments fully online. This is a hands-on position. Our immediate priority is getting existing instrumentation properly configured, calibrated, tested, documented, and ready for reliable analytical work. We also need assistance with analytical standards, calibration curves, method development, troubleshooting, and training. The position will begin as a temporary/project-based role. For the right person, there is significant potential to transition into a long-term or full-time position as the laboratory expands. LC-MS/MS

Agilent 1290/1260 LC components Agilent 6890N GC with 5973 MSD Agilent G1888 headspace sampler Agilent 7500 ICP-MS Automated liquid-handling equipment Microbiology laboratory equipment We are continuing to acquire additional analytical instrumentation as the laboratory expands. Immediate Responsibilities Commission and verify operation of analytical instrumentation Configure instrument hardware and software Troubleshoot instrument communication, pumps, autosamplers, detectors, vacuum systems, sources, and related components Prepare analytical reference standards accurately from supplied certified/reference materials Prepare stock solutions and multi-level calibration standards Establish calibration curves and appropriate QC procedures Develop and optimize HPLC methods Assist with LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/headspace, and ICP-MS setup where qualified Establish system suitability and instrument performance checks Develop repeatable sample-preparation procedures Identify missing gases, regulators, columns, standards, consumables, parts, or laboratory supplies Train laboratory staff in proper instrument operation, standards preparation, calibration, sample preparation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Create and improve SOPs, maintenance logs, calibration records, and analytical documentation What We're Looking For We are especially interested in candidates with substantial hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

HPLC / UHPLC LC-MS/MS

triple quadrupole systems GC-MS Headspace

GC ICP-MS

Analytical method development Quantitative calibration and standards preparation Pharmaceutical, peptide, environmental, food, supplement, chemical, or other commercial analytical testing Experience with Agilent instrumentation is highly desirable. Experience with ChemStation, OpenLab, MassHunter, or related chromatography/mass-spectrometry software is a major plus. Quality & Regulatory Experience Experience with any of the following is highly desirable but not required:

ISO/IEC 17025 GLP

GMP/cGMP ICH analytical method validation USP methods Laboratory quality systems LIMS Method validation/verification Measurement uncertainty Traceability and reference standards Resolux is actively developing its quality system and analytical capabilities, so someone who has previously helped build, commission, expand, or improve a commercial analytical laboratory would be particularly valuable. We are more interested in substantial real-world analytical/instrument experience than someone who simply checks every box. Compensation & Schedule Compensation is negotiable based on experience and capabilities. We are open to hourly, daily, or project-based arrangements. The initial schedule can be flexible. Travel reimbursement may be available for an exceptional candidate outside the immediate Grand Junction area. This position has the potential to become full-time as Resolux Labs continues expanding its testing capabilities.
