Our supplements division focuses on precision, compliance, and consistency in every batch we produce. We are seeking an experienced Chemist/Formulator to support our supplements division. This role will be responsible for product formulation, analytical testing, and overseeing key production processes, with a strong emphasis on HPLC operation and tablet coating. Duties Develop and optimize formulations for tablets, capsules, and powders in the supplements category. Independently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC systems for raw material and finished product testing. Perform method development, validation, and routine analysis to ensure identity, purity, and potency. Interpret chromatograms and analytical data; prepare clear, accurate test reports and documentation. Oversee and operate tablet coating equipment, including solution preparation, coating parameters, and in-process controls. Work closely with production to scale formulations from R D to full manufacturing. Ensure all work complies with cGMP, SOPs, and relevant regulatory and quality standards. Participate in investigations, deviations, and CAPAs related to analytical or formulation issues. Support stability studies, shelf-life evaluations, and continuous product improvement. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on HPLC experience in a GMP, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or related lab environment. Demonstrated ability to run, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC systems (e.g., Agilent, Waters, Shimadzu). Experience with formulation of solid oral dosage forms (tablets/capsules). Direct experience operating and optimizing tablet coating processes. Strong understanding of analytical chemistry, method validation, and documentation practices. Working knowledge of cGMP and quality systems. Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Experience in the dietary supplement, nutraceutical, or botanical industry. Experience with additional analytical techniques (e.g., UV-Vis, dissolution testing). Familiarity with regulatory expectations for supplements and botanicals.
