Job Summary :

We are looking for an R D / Formulation Technician to support hair color product development and laboratory testing. This position will be responsible for preparing laboratory batches, conducting stability testing, evaluating color performance, and documenting laboratory results. The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Hair Care, Hair Color, Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Consumer Product Formulation.

Responsibilities :

Prepare laboratory-scale hair color batches according to established formulations and procedures. Conduct product stability testing and evaluate formulation performance. Evaluate hair color performance and product efficacy. Prepare hair tresses and apply consumer products for laboratory testing. Record, organize, analyze, and report laboratory data and test results. Operate laboratory equipment such as pH meters, viscometers, and batching equipment. Weigh and handle raw materials and prepare consumer laboratory samples. Maintain laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, equipment, and waste areas. Follow GMP/CGMP and laboratory safety procedures. Support formulation experiments and product development activities. Communicate stability and efficacy results to R D/scientific teams. Assist with raw material and supplier-related activities as needed. Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications for data management and reporting.

Required Qualifications :

BS/MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with 0-4 years of relevant experience; OR Prior experience in Hair Color, Hair Care, Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Consumer Product Formulation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good attention to detail and documentation skills. Strong Excel/data management skills. Ability to quickly learn new laboratory procedures and techniques. Ability to work with laboratory materials and lift bulk materials when required.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with hair color or hair care formulation. Experience in cosmetic, personal care, or consumer product R D. Experience with laboratory batching and formulation. Experience with stability testing and product performance evaluation. Experience using pH meters, viscometers, or similar laboratory equipment. Experience with hair tress preparation and product application testing. Experience working with raw materials or raw material suppliers.

Pay:
