R D Laboratory Associate (Chemistry) BLD Pharmatech Co., Limited Newington, CT Job Details Full-time $40,000 - $45,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Organic chemistry Master's degree Bachelor's degree Chemistry Research & development Laboratory research Full Job Description BLD Pharmatech Co., Limited is currently looking for an R D Laboratory Associate to join our research team in Newington, Connecticut. This role is a great fit for candidates who want to build hands-on experience in a professional laboratory while contributing to ongoing synthesis and development work. You'll be part of a team supporting organic synthesis projects, assisting with experiments, and helping maintain consistent and reliable lab operations. What You'll Do In this position, your day-to-day work will include a mix of laboratory and support tasks: Carry out assigned experiments involving organic reactions under supervision Prepare reagents, set up glassware, and monitor reactions as they progress Assist in evaluating reaction conditions such as solvent systems and temperature Perform routine purification tasks including extraction, filtration, and crystallization Help prepare samples for analysis and review basic instrument results when needed Keep accurate records of procedures, observations, and results Report any irregular findings or issues during experiments Support general lab upkeep, including supplies organization and equipment care Follow all safety procedures and internal laboratory standards What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field Basic knowledge of organic chemistry and laboratory practices Some hands-on lab experience (academic or internship) is helpful Ability to follow instructions carefully and work with attention to detail Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills Good communication and teamwork skills Additional Information Prior lab experience of at least 1 year is preferred but not required Ability to handle standard laboratory materials (up to 40 lbs) Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)

$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
