2nd shift 3pm-11pm $17 starting Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compounding Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing compounded medications in accordance with strict regulatory standards, manufacturing procedures, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, laboratory experience, and knowledge of industrial chemical handling to ensure the accurate and safe production of pharmaceutical compounds. Duties Accurately measure, mix, and prepare pharmaceutical compounds following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Handle and store chemicals and raw materials in compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards and safety protocols. Maintain detailed documentation of compounding processes, batch records, and quality control measures. Utilize laboratory equipment for testing and quality assurance purposes to ensure product consistency. Follow all safety protocols including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and chemical-resistant gloves. Assist in packaging finished products according to regulatory standards and company specifications. Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Support warehouse activities including inventory management, materials handling, and storage organization. Adhere strictly to regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Requirements Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory work, or industrial chemical handling is highly preferred. Knowledge of
GMP, CGMP
(Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and regulatory compliance standards within pharmaceutical or chemical industries. Mechanical knowledge related to machining, equipment operation, and troubleshooting machinery issues. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction. Ability to perform basic math accurately for measurements, calculations, and record keeping. Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts is desirable. Strong understanding of industrial chemical handling procedures with attention to safety protocols. Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in documentation. Ability to follow complex manufacturing standard operating procedures precisely. Effective communication skills suitable for a diverse team environment. Commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE usage and respiratory protection.
