Months Job Duties:
Assess quality parameters and systems, including cross-checks, raw materials, calibration, maintenance, procedures, and food safety. Provide training, auditing, and oversight of analytical testing performed in control rooms. Support process improvement activities and conduct specialized testing. Analyze processing data, identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support corrective actions. Communicate information related to processing data, final products, and wastewater. Maintain and coordinate the chemist-technician partnership and associated training systems. Approve final production and ensure compliance with customer specifications. Handle customer audits, initiatives, and follow-up activities. Independently resolve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a scientific related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of chemistry laboratory, analytical testing, or wet chemistry or quality experience. Experience with quality parameters, laboratory processes, and analytical testing. Experience with calibration, raw materials, procedures, and food safety. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support corrective actions. Proven ability to anticipate, recognize, and solve process and laboratory problems preferred. Ability to handle multiple priorities and large projects preferred. Previous food safety, quality, and regulatory experience preferred.
Schedule:
Night Shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Rotating Shift - 2 days on / 2 days off, followed by 3 days on / 3 days off HC01
Pay:
$32.00 per hour
