at Manpower Group in Gages Lake, Illinois, United States Job Description Our client, a global leader in medical products and therapies, is seeking an Associate Scientist I to join their team. As an Associate Scientist I, you will be part of the Research & Development organization supporting the Analytical Stability Testing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear oral and written communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.

Research Associate Scientist I Locatio n: Round Lake, IL (100% Onsite)
Pay Range:
$27.80/hr - $29.50 per hour W2 What's the Job? + Conduct critical chemical and physical analyses on finished product R D stability samples, as well as raw materials and in-process and final product samples, working under minimum supervision. + Perform chemical assays requiring precise analytical skills and a solid understanding of chemistry principles, completing all testing on schedule to meet project timelines. + Operate sophisticated laboratory instrumentation ( HPLC , pH, UV, titrations, Particle, TOC , Flame photometry) and computer systems to collect and record data. + Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs, FDA , cGxP, and QSR regulations while keeping a clean, safe, and organized lab area. + Perform equipment maintenance and calibration, troubleshoot instrumentation, and collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and improve quality. What's Needed? + Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, or similar) plus 6 or more months of laboratory experience. + Experience working in a regulated environment ( GMP / GLP ) with strong technical problem-solving skills. + Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as pH, UV, titrations, Particle, or TOC preferred; Empower and Electronic Lab Notebook experience a plus. + Strong attention to detail with good oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. + Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods, routinely lifting up to 10 pounds, and performing color-based laboratory testing.
