We are seeking a dedicated Scientist I, Manufacturing Sciences to lead high-impact equipment qualification and process validation initiatives. This fully onsite role offers hands-on experience optimizing cutting-edge bead and resin manufacturing processes driving global healthcare solutions.

Rockford, Illinois job type: Contract salary: $21 - 28 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Plan and execute equipment qualification and process validation activities for bead and resin manufacturing capacity expansion. Develop validation protocols, experimental plans, and comprehensive technical reports in compliance with quality standards. Perform hands-on laboratory and manufacturing-floor activities to support process characterization and optimization. Collect, organize, and analyze complex manufacturing data using statistical methods. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues. Assist in seamlessly transitioning validated processes and processing equipment into routine production.
qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline. 2+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, process development, or validation environment. Proven ability to plan and execute technical experiments independently with strong documentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work onsite in a hands-on manufacturing environment wearing required PPE.
Preferred:
Experience with equipment qualification, process validation, or ISO/GMP regulated manufacturing systems. Background in bioprocessing, chromatography, or bead and resin manufacturing. Proficiency with statistical software (Minitab, JMP, or Design Expert).
