A Brief Overview Will be responsible for the formulation and reverse engineering of skin, body, and hair care products, utilizing core cosmetic science and laboratory principles. They will possess extensive experience working with a variety of formulations, including but not limited to O/W and W/O emulsions, gels, pomades, shampoos, conditioners, body washes, hand soaps, mousses, and OTC products. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to cosmetic and personal care formulation, as well as a keen ability to research new products, chemistries, and innovations that drive new business opportunities. What you will do Research, formulate, and reverse engineering of skin, body, and hair care products employing general cosmetic science and laboratory principles and techniques. Develop manufacturing processes and manage laboratory scale-up of formulations. Skilled documentation and recording techniques common to laboratory practices. Research new products, chemistries, and competitor products for new business opportunities. Assist Product Development and Customer Service with technical calls to customers. Up to date with industry and consumer trends. Duties may vary slightly by location. Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Chemistry or related discipline required or commensurate experience (Preferred) Experience Qualifications 4-6 years Experience in cosmetic formulation and development (Required) 4-6 years Experience with:
