We collaborate with each other and with our clients. We currently have a role available for a Pharma Purification Chemist. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Purifying organic samples using normal-phase and reversed-phase chromatography on milligram to multigram scale. Utilizing LC-MS systems to identify products of interest and accurately classify fractions for collection. Using TLC plating as well as rotavaps to concentrate combined fractions Selecting an appropriate purification technique for unique mixtures. Communicating with synthetic chemists regarding purification requirements and issues. Helping maintain a safe, organized, and productive lab. Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: BS - Chemistry or related field with 1-3 years of industry experience OR MS-Chemistry with 0-1 year of industry experience (preferably pharma). Ability to understand organic chemistry and functional groupings preferred. Familiarity with Agilent HPLCs and ChemStation software would be helpful. Observance of stringent safety protocols required. Ability to work well both independently and within a team. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery. This is an onsite, day shift position (approx. 8a-5p local time).
