PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct routine analytical testing of production and environmental samples using standard QA/QC methods. Record, interpret, and report test data, including generating Certificates of Analysis. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and manage routine lab supplies, gas systems, and housekeeping. Train new lab personnel on methods, instruments, and procedures. Support ISO and other certification requirements; identify and recommend improvements to lab procedures. Work a rotating shift as the sole chemist on shift and perform routine safety inspections. Ensure compliance with all company policies and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor of Science in a science field required; B.S. in Chemistry preferred. Westlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
