We are seeking an enthusiastic Formulation Chemist to join our Research & Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in product development within the chemical industry. Position Summary The Formulation Chemist will work alongside senior chemists to develop, improve, and troubleshoot chemical formulations for a variety of industrial applications. This position offers hands-on laboratory experience and exposure to product development from concept through commercial production. Responsibilities Develop and optimize chemical formulations under the guidance of senior chemists. Prepare laboratory batches and maintain accurate formulation records. Analyze test data and prepare technical reports. Assist with scale-up of laboratory formulations to production. Support customer technical service requests and product troubleshooting. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain compliance with company policies. Work with Purchasing, Production, Regulatory, and Quality departments during new product development. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or related science. Strong laboratory skills. Excellent organizational and documentation abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Preferred Internship or undergraduate research experience. Experience with surfactants, emulsions, cleaners, lubricants, coatings, or specialty chemicals. Former formulation experience. Familiarity with laboratory analytical equipment. Experience with statistical analysis or Design of Experiments (DOE) is a plus.
