Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Peptide Freeze-Drying & Manufacturing Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the development and production of peptide-based products through precise freeze-drying processes and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory techniques, a keen eye for quality, and a passion for advancing biopharmaceutical research and manufacturing. This position offers an opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment focused on innovative peptide therapies and solutions. Duties Perform peptide freeze-drying procedures with accuracy, ensuring optimal preservation of product integrity. Prepare, set up, and operate laboratory equipment related to lyophilization and peptide manufacturing processes. Conduct routine quality control tests, document results meticulously, and maintain detailed records of all procedures. Assist in the development, validation, and optimization of manufacturing protocols for peptide products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment to comply with safety and regulatory standards. Support troubleshooting efforts by identifying issues with equipment or processes and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality assurance, and production to meet project timelines. Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations governing biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Prior experience with lyophilization or freeze-drying processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as lyophilizers, spectrophotometers, pH meters, and sterile techniques. Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards is preferred but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
