The Chemist is responsible for supporting product development, formulation, and testing activities within a laboratory and manufacturing environment. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including R D, Quality, and Production to develop new products, improve existing formulations, and troubleshoot technical issues. The Chemist plays a key role in ensuring product quality, consistency, and performance while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. What you can expect to do in aChemist:
Conduct laboratory experiments to support product development and formulation improvements Perform testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products Document and interpret experimental data, providing clear and actionable insights Assist in scaling formulations from lab to pilot and full production Troubleshoot product and process issues in both lab and plant environments Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to ensure product consistency and performance Maintain accurate records of formulations, test methods, and results Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines Support continuous improvement efforts related to product quality and process efficiency Stay current on new materials, technologies, and industry trends What we are looking for in aChemist:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field required 2-5+ years of experience in a laboratory, R D, or manufacturing environment preferred Experience with resins, gel coats, polymers, or composite materials preferred Strong understanding of basic chemical principles and laboratory techniques Strong understanding of lab safety Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Why IP Corporation?
