Job Description

Join our dynamic team in Charlotte area as a Polymer Product Engineer where your expertise will be pivotal in driving the development and optimization of polymer/ plastic compounds. Your role will encompass ensuring compliance with key regulatory standards and contributing to innovative quality system improvements and digitalization initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development/ quality of extrusion products, ensuring adherence to technical and performance specifications. Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance, staying current with evolving standards and legislative requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance quality systems, improve processes, and advance digital reporting capabilities. Offer technical support throughout the product development process, working closely with production, engineering, and other teams. Maintain thorough documentation of processes, testing outcomes, and compliance verification.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. 5-10 years of experience in the polymer extrusion, compounding, plastics related industries. Solid understanding of hazardous chemical regulatory compliance standards. This role is a perfect blend of product and process development, with a focus on quality and compliance. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
