Chemistry Lab Supervisor Greensboro, NC Job Details $104,800 - $157,200 a year 1 day ago Benefits Employee stock purchase plan Disability insurance Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Life insurance Qualifications Vendor relationship building Wastewater treatment Laboratory inventory control Chemical Engineering Vendor management Procedural guides 5 years Engineering Hazmat Data analysis skills Engineering process optimization Environmental compliance Wet chemistry Laboratory staff training Manufacturing standard operating procedures Bachelor's degree Titration Continuous improvement Laboratory techniques Mentoring Vendor relationship management Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering Chemistry Hazardous waste management Laboratory staff supervision Chemical analysis Environmental regulatory compliance Senior level Training Manufacturing company experience Process engineering Chemical engineering Bachelor's degree in chemistry Full Job Description As a Chemistry Lab Supervisor on our Manufacturing Engineering team, you will: Lead and oversee laboratory operations supporting plating processes Ensure chemical baths meet required specifications for production quality Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and process optimization Oversee local wastewater treatment system and hazardous waste shipments Responsibilities Supervise daily lab activities, including analysis of plating baths, waste treatment, and process solutions Maintain and optimize plating chemistries (e.g., nickel, tin, precious metals) Maintain wastewater treatment system Precious metal accountability Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations (EPA, OSHA, etc.) Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab testing and reporting Collaborate with engineering and production teams on process improvements and validations Manage chemical inventory and vendor relationships Train and mentor lab technicians and ensure proper documentation practices What your background should look like Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in electroplating or surface finishing operations Strong knowledge of wet chemistry, titrations, and analytical techniques Experience with plating processes such as electroplating and surface treatment Familiarity with environmental compliance and wastewater treatment systems Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $104,800- $157,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
