Greenville, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $21 - 24 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Associate responsibilities: Conduct simple chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical products using compendial and internally developed test methods. Execute validated analytical methods for finished products using traditional wet chemistry techniques. Identify, report, and troubleshoot out-of-specification (OOS) or unexpected analytical results following strict site SOPs. Record and document testing procedures and results accurately in laboratory database systems per cGMP guidelines. Clean, organize, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas to ensure safety and compliance.
qualifications:
Required:
Associate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related physical/biological science field (Bachelor's preferred). Experience performing chemical testing using chromatographic, spectroscopic, or other analytical techniques. Working knowledge of qualitative/quantitative chemistry and pharmaceutical cGMP regulations. Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience using EMPOWER software.
