Piscataway, New Jersey job type: Contract salary: $43 - 45 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Develop and validate analytical methods (mostly LC and GC) for active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients and dosage forms to be used in the analytical R&D laboratory for routine analysis.

Ensure that procedures are technically developed and conform to appropriate standards of identity, strength, quality, purity of components.

Development and optimization of new and existing analytical methods for qualification, release testing of productsPerform and coordinate laboratory equipment qualifications, calibrations and preventative maintenance programs as neededAudit/Review laboratory data for approval to next step qualifications:
BS + 3 - 5
yrs or MS + 2 yr (chemistry degree)Broad knowledge of modern Analytical and Organic chemistryExtensive experience in cGMP laboratory testing with hands-on experience with sophisticated instruments like
UPLC, HPLC, GC, LC/MS, GC/MS.
skills: Chemistry, High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
