The Lab Pack Chemist will be responsible for handling, filling, and swapping 5-gallon containers of waste material while following established safety and waste-handling procedures. This is an opportunity for an individual with OSHA 40 and RCRA certifications to gain hands-on experience in an environmental setting. The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently, particularly during the 3:00 PM-11:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities:

Handle, fill, and swap 5-gallon containers of waste material. Follow established site procedures for waste handling and container management. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all applicable OSHA, RCRA, and site-specific health and safety requirements. Work independently and remain productive during periods of downtime. Communicate effectively with site personnel regarding waste handling and container needs. Perform additional duties related to day-to-day site operations as needed.

Qualifications:

OSHA 40-Hour

HAZWOPER

certification required. RCRA certification required. 0+ years of relevant environmental or waste-handling experience. Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Ability to remain productive and engaged during periods of downtime. Comfortable working the 3:00 PM-11:00 PM shift. Ability to follow established safety procedures and work practices. No travel required. Standard PPE required. Schedule - 3:00 PM-11:00 PM preferred; 8:00 AM-4:00 PM also available
