Full-Time Posting Detail Information Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join the Monje Group in computational research within the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering . This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of physics, biology, and computation. The successful candidate will engage in theoretical and computational research aimed at understanding the role of lipids in biomolecular mechanisms and material properties. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, the postdoctoral researcher will develop and apply advanced simulation techniques, and data-driven approaches to explore complex biophysical phenomena at the cell membrane. This role provides a platform for scientific growth, collaboration with experimental and computational researchers, and contribution to high-impact discoveries in structural biology, lipid-protein dynamics, lipid membrane biophysics, and related areas.

Minimum Qualifications PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biophysics, or a related discipline with experience in biomolecular simulation techniques, and programming/scripting (Bash,Python) Preferred Qualifications The candidate should have demonstrated experience in molecular modelling, particularly in the areas of biophysics or material design (all atom / coarse- grained approaches) Experience with enhanced sampling techniques; computational biophysics/chemistry Usage of high-performance computing clusters, preferably GPU-based computing Proficiency in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing Strong publication record Physical Demands Salary Range $57,000 Special Instructions Summary Is a background check required for this posting?
