Shifts Available:

2nd, 2:30pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday (OT potential) 3rd, 10:30pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday (OT potential)

Rate:

$25.00 base + $1.00 shift differential = $26.00 (to start, for both shifts)

Summary:

The Manufacturing Chemists will check all production batches to ensure the product is in spec. This process includes testing for a combination of pH, viscosity, solids, color, and odor before releasing the batch to be filled. If any adjustments are needed, this person will calculate those adjustments and communicate them to processing.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for quality control testing of all production batches on shift. Performs chemistry analysis as required. Provides technical assistance and necessary documentation to various internal departments as needed. Maintain accuracy and reliability of all laboratory instruments. Ensure lab test equipment is properly calibrated at all times and before conducting any testing. Perform chromatography and advanced testing. Maintains the laboratory paperwork system according to cGMP standards. Maintains accurate records of analysis and work performed. Be in compliance with all company safety requirements.

Qualifications:

Requiring Bachelor's Degree in a field such as chemistry or closely related field and/or equivalent working experience in a chemical quality lab technician role. Previous chemical manufacturing experience is highly advantageous. Requiring previous experience with chromatography and advanced testing. Requiring professional experience that emphasizes chemist analysis, quality control techniques, and lab testing using HPLC and GC instrumentation in an FDA compliant environment. Ability to work with a team, be part of a team-oriented environment. The person must have the ability to complete all paperwork as needed, be accurate, a good communicator, and a team player.
