This role will conduct a broad range of scientific experiments, including preformulation characterization, prototype formulation preparation, analytical method development and validation, and stability testing. Key Responsibilities Execute laboratory experiments supporting preformulation characterization, prototype formulation development, analytical method development and validation, and product characterization. Develop, optimize, and perform analytical methods using techniques such as: UV/Vis spectrophotometry, HPLC/UPLC; HPLC/MS Gas chromatography (GC); Karl Fischer (KF) analysis pH measurement, Titration, Density measurement Prepare small-scale drug product batches for characterization, prototype evaluation, and stability testing. Perform analytical testing on pharmaceutical compounds and materials in accordance with approved procedures and applicable safety requirements. Follow written procedures, protocols, and test methods accurately and consistently. Document experimental activities, observations, calculations, and results in accordance with good laboratory documentation practices. Prepare technical reports and other scientific documentation. Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean, organized, and compliant condition. Properly handle compounds requiring personal protective equipment and specialized laboratory precautions. Support general laboratory operations and perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related scientific discipline. Two to six years of laboratory experience. Hands-on experience with UPLC/HPLC, UV/Vis spectrophotometry, and/or GC. Experience with analytical method development and validation. Experience working in a pharmaceutical formulation development or analytical chemistry laboratory is highly preferred. Pharmaceutical formulation development experience is a plus. General proficiency with computers and software used for analytical testing, data analysis, documentation, and technical report generation. Knowledge of good laboratory documentation practices. #
