Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy PDM (Product Development Manager) to join our dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing team. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Develop, review, and implement manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product development and production activities. Oversee material handling operations, including the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and machining tools, ensuring safe and efficient workflows. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements by maintaining documentation, conducting audits, and implementing necessary process improvements. Manage chemical agent handling procedures, including industrial chemical manufacturing protocols and proper disposal methods. Enforce safety protocols such as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), respiratory protection, and chemical handling safety measures across all production areas. Collaborate with laboratory teams to support pharmaceutical formulation, packaging, and testing processes while adhering to safety and quality standards. Utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity within the facility. Conduct regular safety training sessions focusing on PPE usage, chemical handling, and emergency response procedures. Operate material handling equipment safely during warehouse activities related to raw materials or finished product storage. Qualifications Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of GMP and CGMP standards. Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment maintenance, machining, and process optimization. Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards including OSHA safety regulations. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and packaging machinery. Knowledge of laboratory practices related to pharmaceutical testing and formulation development. Ability to follow detailed manufacturing SOPs accurately while maintaining high safety standards. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording essential for quality control processes. Experience working with industrial chemicals and understanding proper chemical agent handling procedures. Warehouse experience is preferred for managing inventory movement efficiently within the facility.
